Bamboo-shoot,the first product !!!!

Spring is a pleasant and yummy season!!!!!

Bamboo-shoot is shooting up one after another after the rain at the first sign of Spring. I cooked simmered bamboo-shoot with rape blossom,bamboo-shoot rice,and sliced of raw bamboo shoot mixed dried bonito with a bit of ume paste and miso.

They are typical Japanese home cooked dishes.

Shibakawa area in Fujinomiya City, rich natural environment is famous for a good taste bamboo-shoot. I am very happy to get many regional specialty products in the early morning market.
