Japanese tea is becoming fashionable around the World.!
Shizuoka is the largest producer of green tea. Also, you can taste a good flavor green tea in Fujinomiya with the spring water from melting snow of Mt. Fuji.
Green tea was first brought to Japan from China as a kind of medicine in the 8th century, it is well known having high level of compound called catechin that is high-strength antioxidant. The green tea catechin is very good for you, but also it is bitter.

At SAKURA,we will try to make bitter green tea milder and enjoy three types of tea, Sencha(green tea of middle-grade), Hojicha(roasted green tea), and Gyokuro(high-quality).
